Recruitment is what continues the legacy of Kappa Delta. Our chapter is one of the top recruiting sororities on the Florida State Campus. We look to find the most outstanding young women to join our sisterhood. Last year we recruited 56 new amazing girls to our sorority! Recruitment is an experience you will remember for a lifetime and it is the best way to get a first hand look at what Florida State Greek Life has to offer and we encourage you to register for this upcoming 2010 year! Every member apart of our sorority is proud to be a Kappa Delta because of our strong sisterhood and campus involvement. Kappa Delta is comprised of amazing young women, who each bring leadership, scholarship, community involvement and philanthropy to our chapter and we hope that you can contribute your participation as well through Recruitment! We have, and continue to, promote friendship and sisterhood among our members while upholding our open motto Ta kala diokomen: "Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest."

Recruitment Week August 16th-22nd

Round 1 - Ice Waters (August 16th-17th) - You will:

• Visit all 15 Sororities
• Watch a video at each Sorority, giving you a glimpse into their lives
• Talk with Sisters in the Sorority

Round II – Philanthropy (August 18th-19th) - You will:

• Visit a maximum of 11 Sororities
• Tour each Sorority house
• Learn about the Sorority Philanthropy (Community Service)
• Become familiar with each Sororities Financial Obligations
• Talk with Sisters in the Sorority

Round III – Skit (August 20th) - You will:

• Visit a maximum of 7 Sororities
• Watch a skit at each Sorority about Sisterhood
• Talk with Sisters in the Sorority

Round IV – Preference (August 21st) - You will:

• Visit a maximum of 3 Sororities
• Take part in a Ceremony at each Sorority
• Talk with Sisters in the Sorority

Bid Day (August 22nd)  - You will:

• Receive a “Bid Card” from one the Sororities you ranked
• Go to the Sorority house and begin 4 of the best years of your life!!!!
